Weekend On-Call Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

On-Call Hours: Friday 5 PM – Monday 8 AM

At Dependable Hospice & Palliative Care, we understand that compassionate care doesn't adhere to a 9-to-5 schedule. We're seeking a dedicated RN or LPN to provide on-call hospice care during weekends, offering comfort and support to patients and families when they need it most.

Your Role:

• Provide Compassionate Care: Deliver timely, patient-centered nursing care during on-call hours, addressing urgent needs and ensuring comfort.
• Symptom Management: Administer medications and treatments to alleviate pain and other distressing symptoms.
• Family Support: Educate and support families, helping them navigate end-of-life care decisions and cope with emotional challenges.
• Collaborative Care: Work closely with an interdisciplinary team to implement personalized care plans that honor each patient's wishes.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely records of all patient interactions and care provided.

What We’re Looking For:

• Licensure: Valid RN or LPN license in the state of Arizona.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year in hospice or palliative care—required.
• Skills: Strong assessment abilities, critical thinking, and excellent communication skills.
• Heart: A deep commitment to providing compassionate, dignified end-of-life care.
