Your Role in Our Mission
You will be the steady voice and open heart for patients and families navigating the emotional and spiritual challenges of end-of-life care. Through personalized counseling and meaningful connection, you’ll help individuals find purpose, closure, and serenity.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Conduct comprehensive spiritual assessments and tailor support to individual needs
- Provide direct spiritual and grief counseling to patients, caregivers, and loved ones
- Collaborate with clergy and spiritual leaders across faith traditions
- Actively participate in interdisciplinary care planning and team meetings
- Document services and maintain compliance with hospice standards
- Offer bereavement support and guidance as families adjust to loss
What You Bring
- 1+ year of chaplaincy experience (hospice setting preferred)
- Knowledge of Medicare spiritual care guidelines
- Strong background in grief and end-of-life support
- Compassionate communication and inclusive spiritual sensitivity
- Collaborative spirit and ability to connect with community faith leaders
- Spanish fluency a plus
