Weekend On-Call Hospice Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse

Dependable Hospice & Palliative Care is looking for a dedicated Hospice Registered Nurse to join our on-call  team! You’ll make a real difference in the lives of patients and their families, offering the support and care they need as they navigate end-of-life journeys.

Your Impact:

As a Weekend On-Call Hospice Registered Nurse, you will:

• Provide compassionate care and emotional support to patients and families during this crucial time either by phone or in the home.
• Work closely with an interdisciplinary team to create and implement personalized care plans that prioritize comfort and dignity.
• Administer medications and treatments to manage pain, anxiety, nausea, and other symptoms.
• Educate families on end-of-life care, advance directives, and effective coping strategies.
• Be on-call from Fri 5pm-Mon 8am.
• Keep timely and accurate documentation while upholding the high standards of hospice care.

What You’ll Bring:

• A valid RN or LPN license (required).
• 1+ year of hospice experience REQUIRED
• Strong critical thinking and assessment skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to connect with patients, families, and your team.
